MCC Medical Center Department of Laboratory Medicine provides quality services for inpatients, outpatients, emergency patients, and outreach clients (non-patients) of all ages. These services are ordered/required by attending physicians of a variety of specialties in their treatment of patients. The laboratory operates six days a week all year long. The laboratory has an extensive outreach program and provides services as a reference laboratory testing site for physician offices and clinics, providing specimen pickup for routine and STAT analysis and result reporting.

Laboratory activities are directed by board-certified Pathologists who provide supportive services in both medical and technical areas. Each section within the laboratory is supervised by experienced Technologists holding Baccalaureate and Post-Baccalaureate degrees and testing is performed by competent Medical Technologists and Medical Laboratory Technicians.

Specimen testing involves the analysis of blood and other body fluids with the goal of providing diagnostic and treatment information that improves the quality of the care you receive.  We offer a full line of tests, both basic and advanced.  We seek to provide our health care providers and staff with the results they need in the areas of: Hematology, Chemistry, Coagulation, Immunology, Histology, Microbiology, Virology, Toxicology, Therapeutic Drug Monitoring, Cytology, Endocrinology, Pathology, Substance Abuse, Serology, and Blood Transfusion Services.
